Call for Abstracts
Full papers and abstracts are solicited for the 2022 Ballistics and Defense Technology Conference & Expo (BDTC&E) to be held on July 28-29, 2022, at OSU Discovery in Oklahoma City. BDTC&E aims at facilitating a unique opportunity for cross-fertilization of ideas and future collaboration among academia and industry in the areas of defense-related technologies and education. This provides a forum for intellectuals all over the country to discuss and present their current research and educational findings on ballistics, forensics, electronic warfare, unmanned technologies for military applications. The presentations will include original research results, product development, industrial practices, student projects, and the development of courses or curricula. Authors may choose one of the two options: (1) Abstract-reviewed oral presentation, and (2) full-paper-peer-reviewed publication with oral presentation. If you choose option #2, a full paper should be submitted after your abstract has been accepted. Work in progress is welcome to be presented.
BDTC&E will be held at the OSU Discovery, Oklahoma City, OK, the capital city of the State of Oklahoma. It's known for its cowboy culture and capitol complex, surrounded by working oil wells. The reflecting pool and empty glass and bronze chairs of the Oklahoma City National Memorial recall the victims of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. OSU DISCOVERY is a collaborative research, innovation, extension, and STEM hub for Oklahoma State University’s College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology.
