2nd ICTA-EMoS: 2nd International Conference on Technological Advancement of Embedded and Mobile and Systems Hybrid at Sainte Famille Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda Kigali, Rwanda, September 19-20, 2024

The 2^nd International Conference on the Technological Advancements in Embedded and Mobile Systems (EMoS) Conference is initiated by the project CENIT@EA. The CENIT@EA project consists of a consortium of universities in East Africa and Germany which include UTAB from Rwanda, UoL, Hochschule Mannheim, and German Aerospace Center from Germany, NM-AIST and UDSM from Tanzania, Kabale University from Uganda, MOI University Kenya, University of Burundi, University of Juba from South Sudan and Université de Kinshasa from DRC. The conference will be technically coordinated by the University of Technology and Arts of Byumba (UTAB) in collaboration with the University of Oldenburg in Germany and will take place on 19 and 20 September 2024 at Sainte Famille Hotel in Kigali-Rwanda. The Centre of Excellence for ICT in East Africa (CENIT@EA) is a partnership between East African universities and German institutions. CENIT@EA is hosted at the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST). The implementing partners in collaboration with NM-AIST are Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg (Germany), Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA). 

Other implementing academic partners are Hochschule Mannheim, and German Aerospace Center from Germany, NM-AIST and UDSM from Tanzania, Kabale University from Uganda, MOI University Kenya, University of Burundi, University of Juba from South Sudan and Université de Kinshasa from DRC.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be submitted through the Easy Chair Conference management systems. Please do not send papers through emails. 

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

All submitted full papers will be subjected to a double-blind review process for consideration of publication in a conference proceeding which will be published by Springer. 

The following paper categories are welcome:

• Full papers describing original research and applications according to the proposed themes from academia and industries. 
• Posters describing original ongoing work by researchers, students, and industries.

UTAB's vision is to become a radiating university of academic and professional excellence for sustainable socio-economic development. Under this brand, UTAB, in collaboration with partner universities, launches the call for manuscripts under the theme: Emerging Technologies and EMoS in Sustainable Development with the perspective of boosting the economy in EAC and specifically in Rwanda.
