This forth DEXA workshop on AI system engineering: Math, Modelling and Software (AISys2024) aims at a holistic view addressing the increasing need of interconnecting traditionally separated disciplines such as data analysis, model building and selection, software engineering, deployment, legal aspects, and standards. By this holistic view we encounter a variety of challenges along the AI modeling cycle and software system engineering lifecycle
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full/ Regular papers submissions about original work not exceeding 10 pages.
- Short papers submissions on recent or ongoing work on relevant topics and ideas not exceeding 5 pages.
Papers submission will be managed using www.easychair.org. If you have used this system previously for other conferences, you can use the same username and password. If this is the first time you are using EasyChair, you will need to register for an account by clicking the "I have no EasyChair account" button. Upon completion of registration, you will get a notification email from the system and you are ready for submitting your paper. You can upload and re-upload the paper to the system by the submission due date. Online paper submission: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aisys2024
List of Topics
- Theory-practice gap in machine learning with impact on stability, reproducibility or integrity due to limitations of nowadays theoretical foundations in statistical learning theory or lack of control of high-dimensionality effects of deep learning
- Facing computational constraints, e.g. embedded systems, neuromorphic systems, power consumption/Green AI
- Taking into account compliance checking aspects, e.g. ethics by design, confidentiality protection, federated learning
- Data, model and software quality assurance and standards;legal aspects such as accountability and IPR issues
