Call for Speaker Participation
This is the 4th Cyber-SHIP Lab Annual symposium. The two-day event, in partnership with the International Maritime Organization covers all topics under the overarching theme of maritime cyber security and resiliency. The organisation committee welcomes expressions of interest for presentations from academia, government or industry actively working in the space. Building on the success of previous symposia the symposium attracts hundreds of international delegates from all across the sector. Previous topics have included information sharing, governing cyber security, training and skills development, and many more.

About Cyber-SHIP Lab
Cyber-SHIP Lab is the University of Plymouth’s unique £3.2m hardware-based maritime cyber security research platform; essentially a fully configurable physical twin for any ship’s IT and operational technology systems. Our researchers are engaged in cyber resilience evaluation to inform actionable knowledge tools and training to address maritime cyber risks. Current project funders and partners include Research England, ABS Group, AMI Marine, Babcock International, BMT, BT, Eaton, Hensoldt, Lloyd’s Register, Nettitude, the Royal Navy, Spirent, and Wärtsilä
Submission Guidelines
We welcome the submission of abstracts for speaker presentations to be delievered in-person at the Cyber-SHIP/International Maritime Organization Annual Symposium.
Submissions can cover any topic relevant to maritime cyber security and be from academia, government or industry.
Abstracts should:
- provide details of the topic you wish to discuss
- demonstrate the topics relevance to the symposium and its audience
- be no longer than 500 words
- be in PDF format
