The DYNALIFE interdisciplinary meeting will explore the role of quantum phenomena in the information processing, transfer of complex living systems, decision making and cognition as well as on methods and techniques for simulating biological informational phenomena.
The conference will feature a broad spectrum of topics at the intersection of quantum physics, biology, and information science. We invite submissions of new and original research on a variety of subjects, including but not limited to the following:
- quantum transport and sensing
- quantum effects in the brain, perception and cognition
- role of quantum effects in the origins of life and complexity
- quantum-to-classical transition in living organisms
- quantum computing for molecular biology
- quantum-like modelling and quantum bio inspired technologies
- quantum decision making and cognition.
Submission Guidelines
We invite submissions of extended abstracts (3-5 A4 pages incl. references) describing the technical content of the proposed contribution with the preferred presentation form. Please, use the provided template. The IPC will select the papers and decide on the presentation form (poster presentation or contributed talk).
All accepted submissions will be published in electronic workshop preprints having DOI. Selected abstracts will be invited for publication in the special issue of Biosystems https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/biosystems.
J2C submissions: The DYNALIFE conference also welcomes the presentation of recently published, high-impact journal papers on topics related to the conference's scope. Submissions must follow the provided template, be one A4 page in length, and include a summary of the paper's contributions and significance to DYNALIFE. A link to the DOI of the published journal paper must also be provided. Please note that J2C submissions will not be included in the conference proceedings.
