The International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU: ai-ei-em-ju:) is the global network of leading maritime universities providing Maritime Education and Training (MET) for Global Maritime Professionals (GMP) contributing to the global shipping, ocean, and maritime industries. Founded in 1999, IAMU consists of roughly six dozen members from around the world. Each year, the IAMU holds an annual general assembly and conference at a different location.
Submission Guidelines
This conference accepts submission of abstracts for consideration to be presented at the annual conference. Abstracts will be peer reviewed and may either be accepted for oral or poster presentation. All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference book. Authors of accepted abstracts may submit full papers for peer review. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Venue
After roughly a dozen years, the IAMU conference will return to the United States. It will be held on 8-11 October 2024 at Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Cape Cod.
