The domains of smart grid applications & technologies are varied in functionalities and management. The curtailment of intelligent energy, distributed renewable generation, intelligent fulfilment of demand responses and energy storages are some common parameters shared in most of the IoT based smart grid applications. The data gathering and analysis will be the vital component in controlling and managing smart grids. With the integration of large number of smart grids, the huge amount of data will require more storage and intelligent computing such as cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, quantum, multi-objective renewable energy, fuzzy logics, intelligent control strategies in energy management etc. The incorporation of IoT based Smart Grid system with the traditional human life will benefit the next generation techno-human society. The intelligence of smart bi-directional-based architecture of IoT based smart grids improve the system efficiency, reliability and sustainability.
This focus will be on various contemporary and futuristic intelligent paradigms such as mathematical & computational models, integration of artificially intelligent smart objects, advanced optimization computing such as big data, cloud, quantum computing etc., which would provide the optimal solutions for low reliability, high outages, high greenhouse gas and carbon emission, economics, safety, and energy security. The acceptable reliability and sustainability will be the best outcome of the proposed book proposal.
