Continuing an established series of meetings that have taken the study of multilingual acquisition, processing and use around the globe (Stockholm, Iowa City, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Tromsø, Poznań, Konstanz, London, and Tokyo), Nebrija University is proud to announce that the ninth L3 Workshop, as it is affectionately known, will take place in Madrid on 3-4 October, 2025.
The main goal of the Workshop is to bring together researchers who are interested in multilingual acquisition, processing and language use of a third (L3) language. Empirical and theoretical contributions are welcome. We further encourage submissions on early trilingualism as well as submissions specifying implications for educational contexts.
We seek high quality paper and poster presentations that contribute to the issues mentioned above. Priority will be given to those contributions which examine specific empirical questions related to the acquisition and processing of multilingual morphosyntax, phonology, phonetics, the lexicon, semantics and pragmatics from a cognitive perspective.
