In an educational landscape rapidly transformed by artificial intelligence, this conference emerges from the urgent need to critically and creatively re-examine the foundational pillars of learning and teaching. Its rationale is grounded in the intersection of advanced technologies and humanistic disciplines, particularly language education, and demands a proactive scholarly dialogue to navigate the consequent pedagogical, ethical, and cultural shifts. Set within the broader context of global digital transformation in higher education, the conference explores core themes including AI's role in language pedagogy and assessment, the ethical frameworks and policy implications for academic integrity, the dynamics of interculturality and digital literacy, and the evolving professional identity and well-being of educators. Its central objectives are to deconstruct the challenges and potentials of AI integration, foster the development of equitable and imaginative pedagogical practices, and build a collaborative framework for human-centered innovation that ensures technology enhances rather than diminishes the creative and critical dimensions of learning.
