3rd International Conference on Museum Big Data
(MBD2024) 18-19 NOVEMBER 2024

The MBD conference aims to attract academics, practitioners, and technologists engaged in the current research discourse on the new trends of the Museum Big Data domain; in addition, the conference aspires to showcase experimental work.
The MBD conference welcomes paper submissions from practitioners and researchers on their work in GLAMs (galleries, museums, libraries, archives) and other cultural heritage and memory institutions; everywhere that (Big) Data and cultural heritage come together. The forum also welcomes inspirational examples from different institutions from the GLAM sector (galleries, libraries archives whose work can provide valuable lessons for the museums sector).
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers (10-15 pages, single-column style)
- Short Papers (5-9 pages, single-column style)
reporting completed research.
Submissions should be original, not previously submitted, published, and under review to other Conferences or Journals. Following a double-blind peer review process, all submissions will be reviewed based on relevance, originality, importance, and clarity. Submitted papers have to follow the new single-column CEUR-ART formatting style and guidelines. For details on preparing the submission using the CEUR-ART style, see Publishing at CEUR-WS.org. Templates for LaTeX and DOCS format can be downloaded from http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEURART.zip. The papers must be submitted online via EasyChair, in PDF format.
Authors of accepted submissions will be asked to register for the Conference and present their work in the form of an oral presentation.

Publication
MBD 2024 proceedings will be published in CEUR-WS.org (indexed by DBLP, Scopus, GoogleScholar etc.), and extended versions of selected papers will be published in an international peer-reviewed journal.

The conference will be held at the ‘Ioannis Drakopoulos’ Amphitheatre of the Main Building of the University of Athens (NKUA), 30 Panepistimiou Str., Athens, Greece.
