The MATSim Association plans to hold a MATSim User Meeting 2026 in conjunction with the hEART 2026 conference in Paris, France. The user meeting will take place on Monday, September 28, 2026, the day before the hEART conference begins.

The MATSim Association Annual General Meeting will be held in conjunction with the user meeting.

Submission Guidelines

The call for papers is now open.

Please submit your 2-3 page extended abstract in pdf format.

The deadline for submissions has been extended to 15 August, 2026

Authors should register at least 4 weeks before the event so we can advertise the program in advance.

We require at least one author of each abstract to register for the conference to present the work.

WE HAVE DECIDED TO ALLOW REMOTE PRESENTATION BY EXCEPTION ONLY.

In-person presentations are preferred, and if we receive more submissions than we have slots for, in-person presentations will be given priority in the program.

Please state clearly in the text of your abstract whether you intend to present in person or remotely.
