PRECISION HEALTHCARE: PATIENT CARE, DECISION TOOLS, WEARABLES, LEGAL and ETHICAL ISSUES
Precision Healthcare is an approach that integrates the technology and healthcare system focusing on patient-centric medical care. The proposed book opens a multidisciplinary avenue including statistics, stochastic processes, machine learning, embedded technology, wearables, internet of things, oncology, retrieval systems, radiology, and knowledge-based system that can be used for more informed medical applications including clinical, diagnostic, and medical imaging. The chapters aim delves into application of predictive modelling and large language models in clinical healthcare, statistical and AI techniques to precision healthcare, pioneering work related to IoT and wearables in healthcare, and computer vision algorithms aiding the radiology and pathology. The legal and ethical framework are imperative to ensure the privacy and security of patient data. The book provides insight into holistic understanding of precision healthcare, encompassing patientcare, usage AI tools, wearable technologies, and the legal-ethical dimensions. Our effort is to bridge the gap between theory and practices, equipping health-care professionals, researchers, and policymakers with essential knowledge.
