The Industrial Engineering Degree of the University of Lima is pleased to organize and present the V International Congress of Industrial Engineering (V CIII ULima 2026), called: Towards Industry 5.0: Human-Centricity, Sustainability, and Resilience in Operations and Supply Chain Management”, which will be held in Lima, Peru, on September 01 and 02 nd , 2026, in hybrid format.
As in previous editions, V CIII ULima 2026 will have the presence of world-class specialist exhibitors, who will share their vision and experience on the subject. Likewise, the academic community is invited to send scientific works in short paper format, which show innovative research proposals related to the theme of the event.
1. Ensuring the Integrity and Confidentiality of the Review Process
IV CIII ULima 2025 upholds the integrity of the review process by strictly adhering to the Guidelines on Good Publication Practice established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) . Any form of misconduct, including plagiarism or improper use of third-party sources, will result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript. All individuals involved in the review process must disclose any conflicts of interest and maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts they evaluate. Under no circumstances may manuscripts or their contents be shared with anyone outside the review process.
2. Review of Similarity Report
The General Chairs and Program Chairs review the similarity report to ensure compliance with copyright laws, ethical standards, and to verify that the manuscript aligns with the conference's thematic scope and main topics. Manuscripts exhibiting excessive similarities, improper use of sources, or those outside the thematic scope will be discarded.
3. Assignment of Manuscripts for Review
Once approved for review, the manuscript is assigned to members of the Program Committee or external experts specialized in the subject matter. Each submission undergoes a double-blind peer review, evaluated independently by two reviewers. Reviewers provide detailed feedback, categorizing the manuscript as follows:
Accepted with minor or no revisions.Conditionally accepted, but major changes are required based on reviewer feedback. Revised version is subject to a second review for final approval.Rejected due to limited contributions or other concerns identified by the reviewers.4. Final Decision
The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance is made by the Program Chairs and General Chairs, ensuring impartiality and academic quality of the contributions.
