A Thematic Symposium - Integrity of Mechanical Structures and Material - (formerly Special Symposium in ICEMECE 2020) is held, for the third time since it was firstly introduced in 2020. As high enthusiasm to participate and contribute to the structure and material fields in the previous event, the symposium format in 2024 is changed from every two-year to an annual symposium by cooperation with DIMONITOR© as the Host. Advanced development in structure-related fields are also significantly contributing to the compliance of technology in energy-related infrastructure and design. Therefore, structure-energy collaboration towards sustainable societies is raised as main agenda in TS-IMSM 2024. As follow-up of this concept, two primary publication and journal partners are introduced.
Collaboration with De Gruyter GmbH and Prof. Francesco Tornabene is arranged, which the submitted papers in this symposium, especially in fields of the structure and material, will be projected for journal article publication in the Curved and Layered Structures (ISSN: 2353-7396).
Growing interesting in energy and miscellaneous engineering will be facilitate in this year symposium, which the paper publications of in these themes are directed to the highly reputable Scopus journal Evergreen (ISSN: 2189-0420) and Sinta journal Mekanika: Majalah Ilmiah Mekanika (ISSN: 1412-7962).

List of Topics
Structure and material sections
Scopes are selected to be recent developments of the thin-walled based designs and structures. which thin-walled here is defined as three-dimensional structural components in which one dimension is small compared to the other two; they include shells, domes, arches, articulated plates, and membrane-type structures. Thin-walled designs have a high load-carrying capacity, despite their small thickness.
Energy and engineering miscellaneous sections
Scopes cover the science and technology to contribute to the realization of Green Cities and Communities where ecology and economic growth coexist. The scope of this section involves the aspects of science and technology to contribute to resolve or mitigate the global and local problems in Continents by bringing together new ideas and developments. Besides topics related to the energy, miscellaneous engineering researches are also welcomed.
The selected areas and applications of the symposium scopes are designated as follows:
- Mechanics of Fluid, Solid, Material and Thermal
- Engineering Structure and Construction,
- Architectural Design and Urban Planning,
- Wind Engineering,
