The semi-urban community of Hazaribag, located in the state of Jharkhand, is no exception. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of malaria and its associated factors within this community. A cross-sectional survey was conducted in Hazaribag, involving 800 households selected through a multistage sampling technique. Data on demographic characteristics, environmental factors, and healthcare-seeking behaviors were collected through structured interviews. Blood samples were also collected and examined for the presence of malaria parasites using microscopy and rapid diagnostic tests.
