Abstract

Without movement, it is impossible for people to fulfil their needs and desires. Therefore, transportation is one of the most crucial sectors supporting human activity in daily life. People make daily decisions regarding travel, including how much to travel, what mode of transportation to use, whether motorized or non-motorized, and where and when to travel, in order to satisfy and complete their needs and desires. These decisions have a significant impact on their health, whether positive or negative. This study try to investigate the possibility of intermediate factors that can bridge the gap between travel-participation and health parameters. Some intermediate variables, including social intensity and affective experience, may serve as a bridge between activity-travel behavior and social and mental health issues.

Keyphrases: Health, involving other person, travel behaviour
