This paper provides an overview of the current state of vaccine coverage and the key factors influencing vaccine accessibility around the world. Global vaccination coverage rates vary significantly, with certain regions and income levels experiencing lower rates of childhood and disease-specific immunization. Factors impacting vaccine coverage include health system capacity, socioeconomic and cultural barriers, and the persistence of vaccine hesitancy fueled by misinformation.
